Having represented Mercantil for almost two decades, in 2018, Kreps PR helped what is now known as Amerant Bank enter the world of publicly traded institutions. Among the many community-minded initiatives the firm helps support, Amerant has a robust sports marketing program and is the Official Bank of the Miami Heat, the Official Hometown Bank of both the Miami Marlins and the University of Miami Hurricanes, and the Official Bank of Rice University Athletics.  At the end of 2023, through their expansive partnership with the Florida Panthers, the bank struck an agreement to rename the NHL team’s state-of-the-art home to Amerant Bank Arena, which is also the site of live events and some of the biggest shows in South Florida.
